Lifeguard:
Must be certified in or able to obtain certification
in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR. Must be able to maintain a safe and
clean swimming environment. Knowledge of basic pool operation a plus.
Training is available.
Pool
Manager:
Must be certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR. Must possess or
be willing to obtain a Pool Operators license. Duties include: Maintaining
a safe swimming environment, supervising lifeguard staff, maintaining
overall cleanliness, discipline, and operation of swimming facility. Must
be organized and capable of creating staff schedules and maintaining records.
Pool
Technician:
Must be well-versed in all aspects of pool maintenance
and repair. Position requires individuals to perform long hours and manual
labor. Strong mechanical diagnostic experience and ability required. Organizational
and communication skills a plus.
Area
Supervisor:
Must be certified in Lifeguarding,
First Aid, and CPR. Must possess a Pool Operators license and be well
organized and motivated, with at least 2 years of pool management experience.
Duties include: Supervision of up to 10 facilities, building work schedules
for over 30 employees, training and monitoring chemical management, sales
of pool parts and supplies, customer service, and meeting with owners
and agents of facilities. Personal transportation is required.
